Proof of Identity
How to supply ePostbox with proof of identity
In order to fulfil our customer due diligence requirements we have an obligation to undertake verification checks for both your identity and your residential address. We will also undertake intermittent checks throughout the lifetime of your relationship with us, if you change your residential address and if you change your name.
We require the following proof of name and residential address in order to register your account.
1. Proof of name
Identification documents, either originals if presenting in person or certified copies, should be pre-signed and bear a photograph of the applicant, for example, a current valid full passport, full driving licence (only accepted if issued by an EEA member state), or National Identity Card (only if issued by an EEA member state)
(Please see below for a full list of acceptable documentation)
We are able to accept a copy where it has been certified as being a true copy of the original document, and certified that the photo is a true likeness of the applicant for business. The certifier must use an official stamp quoting their company name and address, sign and clearly print their name, date the certification and indicate their position or capacity on the copied document.
All certifications must include:

- Certifier's signature.
- Date of certification.
- Details of the certifier's position or in the capacity in which they are signing.
- Adequate information so they may be contacted in event of a query.
